  • Wash gentle by hand or in a mesh bag on your machine's gentle cycle
  • Use cold water to protect colors from fading

Sewing Tips

  • use a robust needle and thread (90/14 to 110/18 or a denim/jeans needle)
  • use a strong polyester thread
  • use a walking foot to secure multiple layers
  • clip, do not pin
  • use a "hump jumper" to level your presser foot when crossing over thick seams
  • Use a longer stitch: 3.0 mm to 3.5 mm, as shorter stiches can cause a tear along the seam line.
  • Reinforce stress boints witha "box-x" stitch to secure straps and handle more durably.
  • Top thread tension may need to be adjusted to balance heavy layers, test stitches on a scrap piece of this fabric.
  • Raw edges on inside may fray, bias tape creates a clean and professional finish.
